It is important to note that the use of chemicals based on neonicotinoidsoutdoors or on plants that are commonly targeted by bees has been rejected, as they are highly harmful to bee colonies. Similarly, products with organophosphate compounds are not used. or organochlorines due to its high toxicity in mammals. These practices have been enacted with the force of law in the European communities, and with good reason, in order to protect the proper functioning of the environment. At Constant Fumigations we prioritize public health and ecosystem care, which is why we accompany these prohibition measures.

All the products used achieve a stable, homogeneous and non-flammable solution when mixed with water. In this sense, the application of products that require solvents derived from petroleum for their stabilization is rejected.

Only those green band products with biodegradable composition are used, classified as such by the World Health Organization , because they do not produce toxic residues for the environment and as the main characteristic they have low or no persistence .

Products whose application is allowed on plants, for the control of fungi that generate plant diseases or insects that weaken their growth and development, may be used on all types of plants, respecting the proportions corresponding to each class.

ORGANOPHOSPHORATES

Organophosphates are organic esters of phosphoric acid, biodegradable without a tendency to accumulate in body fats, but with great neurotoxic activity. To know its classification and mode of action, access its article in the encyclopedia throughthis link .

ORGANOCLORATES

They are hydrocarbons with a high content of chlorine atoms and were the insecticides most criticized by environmental groups. To know its classification and mode of action, access its article in the encyclopedia throughthis link .

NEONICOTINOIDS

Neonicotinoids are a family of insecticides that act on the central nervous system of insects and, with less toxicity, in vertebrates. To know its classification and mode of action, access its article in the encyclopedia through this link .

PERSISTENCE

It is the attribute of a substance that describes the length of time that the substance remains in a particular environment, before being physically removed or chemically transformed.

Products overview
generalidades de lo productos

When it is said that a product actsby contact , it is because it penetrates through the cuticle when it is deposited on the insect, on the other hand, when it isby ingestion , it means that it enters through the digestive tract when feeding on liquids or solids that contain the product . In these cases, a product is said to benon-systemic .

On the other hand, when a product is said to besystemic , it means that it does not matter if it falls directly on the insect, but rather that it isabsorbed by the plant or blood of the animal, turning its food source into something poisonous to the insect in question. Hence the importance of the product used not being persistent in the environment, or not accumulating in animal tissues, but rather being biodegradable.

It is appropriate to differentiate the products, since they are designed to act on different organisms through different mechanisms of inactivation of their biology. In this sense, a marked differentiation must be made between fungicides , insecticides , and acaricides . The first class is used for the control of fungi, and the other two, although they seem to be similar, their composition must be clear because many mites are immune to certain insecticides precisely because they are not insects. This is why those for mite control are usually systemic, based on two characteristics of these animals: they are very small, so it is less likely to achieve complete coverage of the plant or animal if products that act by contact are used; they have the habit of sucking to feed themselves, which increases the effectiveness of systemic products.

Normally two methods are used for the application of the products, spraying and thermal fogging. The first one is safer in domestic environments and allows to focus the application of the poison. The second involves the use of equipment that vaporizes the product, causing what is called saturation of the environment. In this way every cubic centimeter is covered, thus allowing to reach the most remote spaces where insects are housed. It should be noted that when the products are in this gaseous state, they are highly toxic to the respiratory system and contaminate surfaces. For this reason, strict security measures must be followed for its use and post-application disinfection procedures.

Raticidas

Of the physical control of rodents

Due to the need to end the plague in environments where, due to its characteristics, it is very dangerous to install rodenticide poison despite compliance with safety regulations, methods are used that promote the capture of animals without causing their death.

Traps

The traps used are made of steel for greater resistance and have springs that are activated within 100 milliseconds of pressure on the target area, which makes them effective tools for capturing unsuspecting animals that pass through their structure.

  • Made of ABS (more resistant thermoplastic) and super fast steel.

  • It has UV protection, which allows its application outdoors, having a useful life of more than 10 years.

  • 90 ° opening, which increases power and trapping force.

  • Its unique patented catch system allows the shot not to be premature and makes the capture effectiveness 100%, optimizing speed.

  • Its dimensions make it the largest on the market, which allows its use in a wide spectrum of rodents, it also has its own anchoring system.

  • Easy to activate without risks for the user, it allows to release the captured rodent in a practical and simple way, highlighting that the fingers never touch the rodent.

Sticky plates

Each tray is made of high-resistance black plastic and has inverted attachment points that favor a comfortable and safe handling. In turn, the rigidity of the structure allows the trays to be anchored to various surfaces. The adhesive is arranged to form a uniform film 0.5 centimeter thick, composed of polymers and resins that provide maximum adhesion and limited elasticity. This characteristic guarantees the adherence of the rodent and prevents escapes, thus obtaining high-density sticky plates that have the ability to stop the movement exerted by the animal at a rate of 10 Newton of force, which is equivalent to a 500-gram rodent moving at a speed of 5 kilometers per hour.

Cages

Once the capture of the animal has been effected, we will proceed according to what is established in the company's protocols for removal to the cage and its subsequent treatment. These cages have a size of 13,500 cm3, (30cm x 30cm x 15cm) and are made of stainless steel. Its door has a lock and is vertical opening for better handling.
